My Lennon gas heater keeps shutting off. Blower won't turn on unless it's turned to on instead of auto. Just makes clicking noise and turns off. It shows slow blinking led 1 and led 2 solid witch is limit switch. What u think? Or is it relay on the Sure light mother board? Thx

I have nest thermostats. I changed it to manual. My heater not working at night but works in morning at 10:00 am and at 6:00 pm only! Even when I want to set it up at 4:00 am at 72 when it’s really cold. Any ideas

on an electric split system, should the outdoor a/c unit and the indoor blower unit come on and off at the same time? This is what it does now after I replaced my thermostat. The older thermostat had the outside unit come on a little before the indoor blower and would shut off before the indoor blower did.

I’m here looking for any kind of help… I have a compressor and fan that won’t turn on everything else on the outside system works the capacitors fine I’m getting all the power where I need to get it coming in and out …the contactor is working ….thermostat is fine…there doesnt seem to be any disconnect in any 24v wires….any suggestions?…i was thinking it may be this time delay relay as ive replaced a couple to get fans back on but i doubt it would be the fix in this case

Great video Frank. Could you explain what the Temperature Offset setting is used for and how to set it up? I contacted Honeywell asking if my TH6000 had a swing setting. They replied that the TH6000 did not have a swing setting. I downloaded the installation manual and I found a setting called "Temperature Offset". Is this the same as a swing setting? My offset was set to 0. I would like my cooling cycle to stop after it reaches 1 degree less than what the thermostat is set to. Would that be a -2 for the offset?

That was as clear as mud. Much more useful to connect wires to the relay than break it apart to show the disc. I would have put the wires on and demonstrated where 24V lands from the transformer and / or field low voltage (T stat) what t stat terminal (Y, G, W?) and L1 line voltage lands where on the relay and line voltage out to blower motor. Draw out or use mfr. wiring diagram to illustrate proper wiring. The advantage to drawing it out is you can color co ordinate the actual wires on the relay to the diagram. The actual internal mechanism operation is of little importance as it is not serviceable. The NO and NC continuity tests are important to diagnose if relay is working or not. If it doesn't work, you need a new one though, right?

Previous owner had the thermostat connected to their wifi. Is the thermostat still controlled by them because I can’t set the day or timer

My thermostat seems stuck in default settings even after programming it and pressing DONE. It heats at 68 degrees. I want 70 degrees. I always have to override it with HOLD button. What is wrong?

I have an electric heater . Company sent me out new limit switch worked fine for a couple of months but now its continuing to trip again and not return back to normal functions. Fan stays on too cool the unit down but never switches back to heating mode. Any ideas? New limit switch again?

My back light does not come on when I touch a button. (It used to for about 4yrs) I can see the temperature numbers & everything else but at night I can not see anything without a flashlight. Do you know what I need to do to make the light work?

I had a 60 on my service gauge manifold set and on my new low side gauge with just a quick connect that read 5 lbs higher

So you are saying that a true calibration to accurately get your SC or SH is to not so much depend on the Zero but to get a refrigerant tank and calculate the ambient and pressure numbers, that would mean that on that gauge zero would not be the accurate pressure with nothing hooked up?

Thank you so much! My apartment people took two days to replace the thermostat. I'm home sick and sweating. It got son hot my Hershey's chocolate became soft like butter. I used some wires to manually connect, and got the A/C run till it got cold enough to sleep at night.

Thanks, I found this enormously helpful in diagnosing my non-working air handler blower. The continuity tests made the decision to replace the relay with a new one.

I didn't see a conclusion how to diagnose.

Apparently you can set it to heat and cool on its own. But his initial presentation is incorrect. You actually have to pull tghe unit OFF the wall and get a special code on the back of the unit. You HAVE to use that code to do all what he doing to work right. This is total nonsense to have to do this!

Thank you! This worked for me. I had the d batteries tray and batteries I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't light during a power outage... Once I unplugged the two black wires it started right up!!
